The spacious dorm room was a lovely haven with clean beds and even blankets to keep us cozy at night—definitely a plus when you're in the middle of a desert! The true highlight was its fantastic location right next to the manmade oasis, with stunning views of the surrounding sand dunes right from our window. We made the most of our time there by joining the Dune Buggy Sunset Tour, which was an absolute blast. It was a relaxed ride through the golden dunes, with plenty of stops for sandboarding and snapping pictures of the breathtaking sunset—perfect for groups of friends or couples looking for some adventure. The staff were incredibly helpful, and it felt like a little slice of home, especially with the genuine kindness reminiscent of my nana back in Cork. The communal areas, from the terrace to the garden, provided wonderful spots to unwind after a day of exploration. While the food might be a tad pricey, I found it to be well worth it given the atmosphere and delightful service. Desert Nights Hostel was a great base for our desert adventures, and I’d happily recommend it to anyone looking for an engaging and memorable stay!
